Gertrude Contemporary has sixteen low-cost artist’s studios available for artists in the first fifteen years of their professional career. Applications are accepted annually for these two-year studio residencies.
Since their inception in 1983 Gertrude Contemporary’s Studio Program has provided practical support and professional advocacy for many of Australia’s leading contemporary artists.

General Information
16 low cost, non-residential studios located at Gertrude Contemporary are available to emerging artists for a period of two years. They range in size from 30–72 square metres.
