Exhibition05.03.99 - 27.03.99 Laszlo Romer’s installation 1L3P - one lamp, three paintings – presented an ensemble of paintings and objects which explored the relationships between works of art and functional décor. The installation referenced 1960’s Op Art and other outmoded technologies such as microfiche cards and photocopies to create a hybrid space of exhibition living, creating a gently humorous scenario of three paintings looking for context. |
