UNESCO/Aschberg Bursary

GERTRUDE CONTEMPORARY ART SPACES REGRETS THAT THE INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR THE PROMOTION OF CULTURE HAS SUSPENDED ITS UNESCO-ASCHBERG BURSARIES FOR ARTISTS PROGRAM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

The South Project has joined this residency partnership to further assist in the promotion of contemporary art practice and discourse for artists from southern cultures effected through the realisation of the residency's public outcome (refer to criteria).  The South Project is a series of events designed to build a cultural highway that links countries of the South and facilitates creative traffic, focussing on visual culture.  The programme considers residency opportunities, international gatherings, network building, partnerships, exhibitions, online publication and local focussed discussions and workshops.
