Kate Smith was born in 1980 in rural NSW, Kate recieved a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts Visual (Drawing and Printmaking) in 2005 and Honours in 2006, from the Australian National University (ANU). After completing a six month residency at Canberra Contemporary Art Space (CCAS) Kate moved to Melbourne to continue. Things have gone well in Melbourne. Kate choses to *express* herself at katedsmith.blogspot.com sometimes.
