Information
Nick Mangan completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Victorian College of Arts in 2000. He has presented individual exhibitions at Studio 12, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces, Melbourne 2002; Penthouse & Pavement, Melbourne 2001; Building 12, RMIT, Melbourne 2000; Tenement Gallery, Melbourne 1999; and Momenta Arts Festival, Geelong 1998. In 2002, Nick participated in a number of group exhibitions including In the Making, 1st Floor, Melbourne; Pure Negativity, Westspace, Melbourne; Mutable Spaces, Metro Arts, Brisbane; Only the Lonely, Block Gallery, Sydney; Why do Birds Suddenly Appear, Boutwell Draper Gallery, Sydney. Other group exhibitions have included Hatched, Perth Institute for Contemporary Art, Perth 2001; and Departure, Bus Gallery, Melbourne 2001. Nick is a founding member of Bus Gallery and is represented by Sutton Gallery. |
