Information
Simone Slee completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture) at the VCA in 1995 and went on to compete a Masters in Fine Art (Research) at RMIT in 2002. She has exhibited widely, recent solo exhibitions including On, at 6 billboard sites around Melbourne for the 2003 Melbourne International Arts Festival, On, Project Space, RMIT, Melbourne 2002, and Activities, Mass Gallery, Melbourne 2002. Recent Group exhibitions include Gertrude Studios 2003, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces, Melbourne 2003, Orifice, Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Melbourne 2003, and X Melbourne, Canberra Contemporary Art Space and Sydney College of the Arts Gallery 2003. Simone has also been awarded with a 2004 Anne and Gordan Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship.
