Information
Viv Miller completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) at the South Australian School of Art in 2000, and a Master of Visual Art at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne 2004. Her recent solo exhibitions include The Power, Bus Gallery, Melbourne 2005; Real World, Canberra Contemporary Art Space (Cube), Canberra 2004; Nature is Thick, West Space, Melbourne 2004; and Prospect 1, Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia, Adelaide 2003. Group exhibitions include What if, The Wedding Circle, Sydney 2005; New Painting Heroes (as artist and curator), Downtown Art Space, Adelaide 2005; A Portable Model of…, Plimsoll Gallery, Hobart 2005; and Address Book, Bus Gallery, Melbourne 2004. Viv was an Associate Director at Downtown Artist Run Space, Adelaide, from 2002-2003, and is currently a board member of Bus Gallery, Melbourne. Her work is held in the collections of Artbank, Sydney, BHP Biliton, Melbourne, and various private collections. |
