JAKE WALKER

Born Wellington NZ 1971

Jake walker is interested in using found landscape paintings and mixing palettes as starting points for experiments with painting. He also creates incidental paintings as a naturally occurring bi-product of paint mixing, brush cleaning and general studio activity.

Recent Group and Solo Exhibitions include: Owner Builder,  Utopian Slumps (2011), Reason And Rhyme, Gertrude Contemporary (2011), Points Of View, Tolarno Galleries, 2010. Jake Walker is represented by Utopian Slumps Melbourne and Gallery 9 Sydney.
