Inaugurated in 2005 to provide new opportunities for emerging visual arts writers, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces and Express Media’s Emerging Writers Program provides the chance for participants to develop their writing practice, publish their work and gain further insight into the field of contemporary art writing. more INCOMING STUDIO ARTISTS FOR 2008/2009
The eight new Gertrude Studio artists were announced at the annual Gertrude Studio exhibition opening on Friday 16th November they are: Kel Glaister, Nathan Gray, Ardi Gunawan, Kate Just, Ash Keating, Richard Lewer, Jackson Slattery and Matthew Shannon. more BRODIE ELLIS' EXHIBITION "THE SUPER PIT" TO OPEN AT CONICAL.
As part of the Nextwave festival, Brodie Ellis will present new work at Conical opening Friday 16th may 6-8pm. more PURE PLEASURE
Kate Just and Noel Skrzypczak are both exhibiting work in the exhibition enetitled "pure Pleasure" as part of the Next Wave festival. more OPPORTUNITY FOR ARTISTS: MELBOURNE PRIZE FOR URBAN SCULPTURE 2008
The Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2008 will recognise and reward excellence and talent in urban sculpture. more MATTHEW SHANNON'S WORK AT THE LIBARARY
